Cross channel ferries: Antwerp is home to great beers

People taking cross channel ferries this winter could visit a city which has a great range of beers to consume, according to one website which that said one brewery in particular stands out from the rest.SpottedByLocals.com stated that the De Koninck brewery was founded in 1827 and has been making great beers ever since.
"Ask any Antwerp local to name some typical things from the city of Antwerp and there will always be De Koninck in the answer. You know we Belgians know how to make beer well our Antwerp beer is a great one," it stated.
The website also advised people to visit the brewery itself where they can take part in tours and discover its history.
Ale fans could also visit the three-day Beer Passion festival which takes place in June at the Groenplaats in the heart of the Old Town and hosts a wide selection of beers and food for visitors to enjoy.
