Ferries to France close to great Belgian city

People taking ferries to france are close to a Belgian city which has fantastic accommodation, as well as brilliant bars and restaurants, according to one website.

VisitFlanders.co.uk stated that holidaymakers who venture to Antwerp will not be disappointed and can have lots of fun dining out and taking trips to historic buildings and sites.

"There are so many [bars] from which to choose, but Ultimatum, the coolest bar on the Grote Markt with stunning views of the gabled guild houses, and Zuiderterras, with its prime location overlooking the Scheldt, are always popular," stated the website.

It added that shopping in the city is also fantastic, with a range of respected boutiques to choose from in the Nationalestraat area.

The Antwerp Six were a group of Belgian designers who rose to prominence in the 1990s and gave the city a reputation for young and exciting style and fashion.
