Indoor Winter Fair to arrive in Antwerp

Antwerp may be the best destination for those wanting a festive break between Christmas and New Year, open its doors between December 26th and January 6th.The large range of rides and attractions will be on display in Hangar 29 of the famous port, complementing the famous Antwerp Christmas market that will also sell all manner of festive gifts during December.
Such attractions include a mirror labyrinth, a nostalgic playground and the obligatory authentic merry-go-round.
Only a free heated bus service keeps travellers away from the ice rink on the Grote Markt, it was added.
"No matter what the weather is like, inside the hall the temperature will be up and the spirits high," event organisers said.
"Be enchanted by the street animations and circus acts in this retrospective setting."
Resembling a "pocketsize metropolis" and offering the ferry-using holidaymaker all kinds of things to see and do, Antwerp"s tourism office said the city gave opportunities such as fashionable shopping outlets, "dazzling" monuments and a rich artistic history.
