Cross channel ferries can transport travellers to 'special' location
10.03.2010
People taking cross channel ferries can visit a region in northern France which has a very special connection with the UK and contains attractions aplenty, according to one newspaper. The Daily Mail spoke to Ray Connolly, who recently visit the region and said that there was plenty going on for him to get involved with while on a break.
"[We called] in to see the Bayeux Tapestry, which was hugely more impressive than I"d anticipated, and witnessed again the ever ghostly apparition of Mont St Michel while on our journey," he stated.
The writer added that towns and villages like Tregastel, Trebeurden and Lannion all have attractions that can entertain people who have taken cross channel ferries.
Brittany has recently paid host to Thrill The World 2009, which is a dance event in tribute to Michael Jackson that sees thousands of revellers descend on the region to perform some of the performer"s most well known moves.
