19.01.2010
Vacationers taking cross channel ferries are close to Brittany beaches which one newspaper said are among the best that Europe has to offer. The Times reported on the brilliant beaches that can be found near to Quiberon Bay, which it said are ideal for youngsters wanting to comb the shores or build sandcastles.
"At the southern tip of the Quiberon peninsula, far from Brittany"s crowds, lies Plage Conguel, a necklace of blonde sand surrounding a rocky point that, one day, like Quiberon itself, will succumb to the waves and become an island," it stated.
The newspaper added that on the Plage Conguel, the whole brood can see brilliant views across the Belle-Ile which is just over the bay.
In other news, the Financial Times" John Sunyer recently visited Brittany and said that the area"s cycling routes are interesting, varied and can provide visitors with a relaxing way to pass the time.
