Ferries to Dunkerque are close to 'a gem of a town'

People taking ferries to Dunkerque are close to a town which has been transformed from a steel town into the location of a great gastronomic hotel which offers unique cuisine.The Sunday Times reported on the Le Buffet eatery in the town of Isbergues and said that it is great for people who want to discover an epicurean treasure.
"Le Buffet, in the steel town of Isbergues, used to be the station canteen, but is now a seriously up-and-coming hôtel de gastronomie, under chef Thierry Wident. Go now, and say you were there before the critics," it stated.
The newspaper added that there are great deals on offer at the venue, which could be taken advantage of by people taking ferries to Dunkerque.
In other news, the Daily Telegraph reported that France has around 500 quality resorts, including some in the northern Alps, which are well served by good public transport links and remain popular with skiers from the UK.
