Ferries to Dunkerque are close to amazing festivals

07.01.2010
People taking ferries to Dunkerque are near to a wide selection of festivals taking place throughout 2010, according to one newspaper, which said there is one for every month of the year.

The Times reported on the options which are open to travellers taking ferries to Dunkerque and one of the stand out events was the first bullfight of the season, which is held in April.

"Easter is celebrated on a grand scale in Arles in Provence. The first bullfight of the season – Féria de Paques – is celebrated in the town’s Roman amphitheatre in front of an audience of around 60,000," the newspaper stated.

It added that the people of Camargue take great pride in their regional tradition and around half a million people descend on the arena over the course of the four-day festival.

Families will not be deterred from having a break together in 2010, according to Bob Atkinson, travel expert at travelsupermarket.com, who said the frugal discipline of many in the past year will see them reward themselves with multiple trips abroad.
