Ferries to Dunkerque: Normandy is a great region

People taking ferries to Dunkerque will be staying in a region that is hosting many impressive events this year, according to one newspaper.The Daily Telegraph reported that Normandy has a wide range of attractions, including an exhibition of impressionist paintings, by artists such as Monet.
"Between June and September, Normandy holds its first ever Impressionist festival, "Normandie Impressioniste", with more than 100 masterpieces by Pissarro, Boudin, Sisley and Monet returning from all over the world to the region that inspired them," it stated.
Great food and drink can also be consumed while in the area, according to the publication, which said that great cheeses, such as Neufchatel, Livarot and Pont l"Evêque are all made in the region.
In other news, the Daily Telegraph reported that France has around 500 quality resorts, including some in the northern Alps, which are well served by good public transport and remain popular with skiers from the UK.
