Ferries to France: Hamburg is a 'cultural haven'

Culturally astute travellers may want to take a ferry to france in order to visit a European city that is buzzing with artists and creative types, according to one newspaper.The Daily Telegraph reported on Hamburg and said the city is currently in the middle of a transformation that will turn it into one of the most modernistic cities in the world.
"Hamburg"s huge creative energy has always attracted media types and musicians. It is a place to shop, sail and feast on seafood. It is a place of thrillingly designed hotels," it stated.
The newspaper added that parts of the city are affluent and show off the wealth of some residents where as others, like the Reeperbahn district, are more up-and-coming.
Ferry passengers travelling to Germany have recently been able to experience an exhibition on Bauhaus which charted the rise and fall of the school that lasted for 14 years.
