Ferries to France: Netherlands offers friendly atmosphere

People taking ferries to france can continue their journey so they can visit a country which has a friendly atmosphere and welcoming people, according to one expert.A spokesperson for Netherlands Board of Tourism & Conventions said that the country is popular with visitors because of a relaxing atmosphere which is welcoming to tourists.
"The Dutch are very warm, open, laid-back and have great respect for people. They enjoy speaking to visitors from different countries and often speak several languages, making communication easier," she said.
Other attractions which the Netherlands offers according to the spokeswoman include "classics" like windmills, tulips, cheese and other cultural sights and events.
Dutch design and architecture has recently undergone a renaissance, according to the tourism expert who said that it is "gaining a name for itself".
In a recently survey by OnePoll showed that the Netherlands was hailed as most welcoming European nation followed by Greece, Portugal and Italy.
