Ferries to France: Renoir exhibition 'is perfect attraction'

Art lovers taking ferries to Dunkerque may want to carry on the short distance to Paris in order to see an exhibition which features one of the world"s most famous artists.Marie Claire said that the Renoir exhibition at the Grand Palais on the Champs-Elysees is a treat for art enthusiasts and contains over 100 pieces of his work.
It stated: "The big attraction in Paris this month is a major Renoir exhibition at the Grand Palais [...] which runs until January 4th 2010."
The magazine added that a great place to stay while in Paris is the Renaissance Paris Vendome because of its handy position near to some of the city"s fashion stores.
Cooking fans may want to take inspiration from the TV chef Keith Floyd who loved to travel to France before his death last month and even asked for his coffin to be decorated in flowers that would remind people of the country.
