Ferries to France: Skiing is affordable

People taking ferries to france could soon be hitting slopes where ski resorts are offering great value for money, according to one newspaper which stated that the Three Valleys area is especially good for the frugal holidaymaker.The Daily Mail reported on the best places to enjoy wintersports this season without spending vast amounts of money and found that France still has the resorts which allow vacationers" money to go further.
"France still attracts the lion"s share of British skiers and snowboarders, and the vast Three Valleys area, encompassing Courchevel, Meribel and Val Thorens, is a key player within it," the newspaper stated.
The newspaper added that there is a lot of different accommodation for vacationers to choose from, including chalets of various sizes.
In other news, the Daily Telegraph recently reported that France has around 500 quality resorts including some in the northern Alps that are well serviced by public transport.
