Fun for all ages at Belgium Toy Museum

11.08.2009
Kids and big kids alike love nothing more than a room full of toys to help keep them occupied all day long.

Well, those young at heart will find several rooms packed with treats if they take the ferry to Belgium and head to the Toy Museum in Brussels.

Here they will find collections dating back as far as 1830, all of which are housed in a beautiful mansion which was constructed at the turn of the 20th century.

Visitors will be able to see everything from teddy bears to train sets, with this far from being a traditional stuffy old museum as children are encouraged to enjoy themselves and play.

Open daily with an admittance price of 5.50 (£4.71) euros for adults and 4.50 euros for kids, further excitement is added thanks to demonstrations of some of the museum"s most eye-catching attractions.

After a morning of wonder in the Toy Museum, those making the ferry trip to Belgium may want to keep the fun and entertainment going with a visit to the International Cat Show, which will wow lovers of all things feline in Flanders on October 25th.ADNFCR-1871-ID-19307495-ADNFCR
