La Plagne 'is fun for the family' after ferry to France

05.03.2010
The French resort of La Plagne could be a good family holiday option for those taking a cross channel ferry, according to one traveller.

Writing in the Sun, Lisa Minot said that a recent holiday to La Plagne with her family was an exciting break, as it allowed her to take part in a range of activities with and away from her children.

"You can ski with your little ones, meet them for lunch, enjoy dinner with them and more - it is a family holiday, after all," she explained.

Ms Minot pointed out that children can be enrolled in a ski school to help them improve their winter sports skills - which has the added benefit of allowing parents to explore the resort and its attractions on their own.

The holidaymaker also drew attention to the bars and lounges found in La Plagne, offering a haven for parents looking to relax after a hard day on the slopes.

Rugby star Will Greenwood recently told the Daily Mail that he enjoyed the experience of trying a beginner ski week. He also recommended La Plagne for winter sports enthusiasts taking a cross channel ferry to france.
