Belgian beer tastes 'like heaven'
03.09.2009
Holidaymakers heading on ferry trips to Belgium can sample beer which takes "like heaven", a source has claimed.Kathryn Stewart, writing for a One News article on tvnz.co.nz, made the journey to the country, enjoying many of its renowned attractions.
She said that upon exploring Belgium, she discovered that it is full of "jaw-dropping architecture, lush parks and damn fine beer".
On the subject of local alcohol, Ms Stewart commented that there are hundreds of varieties for those making the ferry crossing to Belgium to sample, advising that the best way for novices to narrow their options down is to ask local bar staff for recommendations.
She stated that a day of enjoying the delights of Belgium had left her well-placed to sup a cold brew, saying: "For me, after a hot afternoon on the tourist circuit, my glass of locally brewed, amber, dry beer goes down like liquid heaven."
Lovers of these Belgian beverages may want to hop on a ferry to the country and stop off at the Brewery Museum, which is open daily and houses just about everything that those with a taste for these drinks could possibly want to see, hear and taste.
