Belgian beers are on display at festival

One of the largest beer festivals in Belgium will give people who take ferries to france the opportunity to sample tipples from all around the country and beyond.The three-day Beer Passion festival takes place in June at the Groenplaats in the heart of Antwerp"s Old Town and hosts a wide selection of beers and food for visitors to enjoy.
An entrance fee of 2 (£1.80) is required and buys a special sampling Beer Passion glass for visitors to fill up with the brews, which are bought using tokens that all cost 1.50.
Beermad.org.uk stated: "Belgium has a remarkable range of distinctive beer styles and most of them must have been available over this weekend, from strong spiced ales like Delirium Tremens, through [to] wheat beers like Wittekerke."
There are around 150 different beers at the event, with varieties hailing from Belgium, the Czech Republic and Germany.
Travel journalist Aaron Dalton recently reviewed Belgium for the Jewish Exponent newspaper and said that lovers of chocolate and beer will enjoy the destination.
