Brits looking for a Valentine"s Day with a difference may wish to make the ferry trip to Belgium for a passion-tinged event. The International Love Film Festival will showcase a host of movies with the theme of all things romantic.
Running from February 13th until the 20th, next year"s celebrations will mark the 25th anniversary of the spectacle.
Features from around Europe will be shown, as well as a range of low-budget offerings and also films made especially for children.
If this seems a little bit of a romance overload, movie-buffs may instead wish to visit Belgium in March when the biannual Novo Film Festival is held.
The event, which is hosted in Bruges, offers visitors the chance to view an array of future classics from every corner of the globe.
Lucia Puenzo"s double Cannes award winner XXY is among the pictures set to be showcased at the 2009 showing.
