Boating - ideal way to see Holland and Belgium

People who cannot get enough of the ferry to france can spend their holiday in Belgium or Holland on a boat, advises one newspaper.The Mirror reports that now is the ideal time to visit Holland, as the next six weeks will see the flowers of the country at their peak.
It adds that the waterways and canals of both Belgium and Holland are an ideal way to explore the beauty of the countries.
Cruises run through the areas, which allow families to travel to a number of locations while putting in minimal effort.
In particular the newspaper"s reviewer says the chocolates are a must-buy in Belgium, with there being at least one chocolate shop on each street in the beautiful city of Bruges.
Also recommended by the source is a trip to Ghent, which is a bustling port city with old architecture, quaint shops and lively bars.
Travellers wanting to sample some culture after their ferry crossing this summer can attend the annual Holland Festival from June 4th to 28th.
