Ferries to France For Brilliant Belgian Break
09.10.2009
People taking ferries to France may want to continue their journey into Bruges as the city offers a great mix of historical and cultural delights, according to one expert.Gavin Choyce told the Daily Mail that Belgium and Bruges in particular offer more history and beauty than many of the other European destinations that he has visited.
The writer commented on the variety of attractions offered by the country and said that a trip to Belgium is a great way to reduce a carbon footprint and avoid airline surcharges.
"We spent three days there and were blown away. It is the perfect place for a short break, or longer if you are willing to venture to nearby sites." he said.
The Belgian city recently starred in the Colin Farrell comedy in Bruges, which followed the exploits of a pair of assassins who have to hide out in the destination after a job goes wrong.
