Festivals galore in Belgium

Brits heading on the ferry to Belgium over the summer will be spoilt for choice in finding events and activities to keep them busy.The country holds several celebrations over the warmer months, such as the Flanders Festival.
Held throughout August and September, the event sees hundreds of concerts put on in venues across Brussels, Antwerp, Ghent and Bruges.
If you are heading on the ferry to Belgium before August, the Parc de Bruxelles festival is held on Sundays throughout July.
Performances from bands and artists in genres such as classical and jazz will take place, with this year"s theme being pupils and professors from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels.
If movies are more your thing, the Brussels European Film Festival is held from June 27th until July 5th, screening numerous features, dishing out prizes for the best on show, with a jury of youngsters from across the continent choosing the winners.
