The festive Brussels Card 'can save a tourist a lot'

Visitors travelling by ferry to the continent this year will be able to head around extra attractions this season after the tourist office of the Belgian capital introduced an extended version of its Brussels Card.Tourists are being encouraged to make the investment and buying a card from one of the Brussels Tourist Offices, which will give them free admission and other perks to many of the world-famous Winter Wonders Christmas Market attractions in the city, according to Easier Travel.
Festive visitors with a Brussels Card will get half-price entry to the huge ice rink in the city centre and other substantial discounts on marketplace products, along with the free entry to 26 of the capital"s museums and unrestricted use of public transport, not to mention a free map of the city.
Giving ferry travellers plenty of opportunities to shop in the area, 240 chalets filled with different market sellers will cover the city centre, the travel news provider added.
The card also provides a large amount of bars and restaurants that are prepared to give ferry-travelling visitors a 25 per cent discount, according to the Brussels tourist office.
