Fine food on offer in France

04.09.2009
France is renowned for its fine cuisine, however, those keen to try something a little bit different will want to jump on a cross-Channel ferry next month.

Between October 14th and 18th, chocolate will be the order of the day at the Port de Versailles.

This venue will house the Salon du Chocolat, which will have those with sweet teeth coming from all around.

Here, they will find tasting sessions and demonstrations which centre around the finest confectionary that the country has to offer, making it a must-see event for those heading on the ferry to france during October.

Those with teeth of a slightly less sweet variety may instead want to make the trip to Tasting Week – La Semaine du Guot.

This takes place throughout Paris from October 10th until the 18th, giving visitors to the nation the chance to sample some of its top dishes and flavours.

It sees numerous renowned chefs and restaurants put on tasking sessions and workshops, while local children are given lessons in cooking and healthy eating by top cooks.ADNFCR-1871-ID-19347319-ADNFCR
