05.12.2008
Families looking to celebrate St Patrick"s Day in style may consider a ferry trip to Disneyland. The Paris resort puts on a host of events and activities to mark the occasion, which next year falls on March 17th.
Familiar faces such as Mickey and Minnie will be given an Irish makeover for the day and will also regale holidaymakers with Celtic songs as the party gets into full swing.
Those making the ferry trip from Britain can be sure they will meet others from back home as the expat community comes out in force to celebrate the day.
Disneyland Paris has marked the date since 2006 and it is now on the way to becoming one of its most popular occasions, its organisers claim.
Meanwhile for those visiting the complex before St Patrick"s Day, a host of festive treats are lined up which are set to run until January 6th.
