New Disneyland Paris parade starts next month

People getting ferries to france to visit Disneyland Paris will be able to take part in the year-long New Generation Festival to mark the opening of the Toy Story Playland.

The event will mean that visitors can meet the characters in the parade and will showcase the new members of the Disney clan, including the stars of The Princess and the Frog and Lilo & Stitch.

People getting ferries to France to go to the resort from April 2nd will be able to catch the show, until it ends next March.

They can also sample the Toy Story Playland, which opens this summer and will see people "shrunk" down into a world modelled on Andy"s back garden.

Norbert Stiekema, Disneyland Resort Paris"s sales and distribution senior vice-president, said: "Our castle and classic Disney characters will always be client favourites, but the Disney New Generation Festival creates compelling new experiences."

At the moment people getting ferries to France to go to Disneyland can take part in Mickey"s Magical Party, which runs until March 7th and sees the popular character appear in a range of shows.
