Holidaymakers keen to learn a thing or two while away from the UK may want to head on a ferry trip to Belgium this summer. The country is hosting the Survivors of the Xtreme exhibition until August 30th, which educates visitors all about how different animals have managed to cope with the elements and prosper.
Brussels" Natural Science Museum will shine the spotlight on everything from reptiles, lizards and camels to ostriches, yaks and bats.
The event focuses on how animals are able to survive despite facing conditions such as having no light, being without oxygen or living in extremely hot or cold environments.
After a day of fascinating education, those heading on ferry trips to Belgium may want to visit the Brussels Summer Festival, where they can enjoy a completely different form of entertainment.
Acts spanning a range of musical genres, such as folk, rap and reggae, will put on performances throughout August to keep visitors amused and, best of all, it is absolute free of charge.
