18.06.2009
Britons keen to catch one of the biggest acts the country has produced in the past three decades will want to hop on the ferry to france this summer.Britpop kings Blur are back together after several years on hiatus and the cheeky-chappies will be in Lyon for a gig on July 5th.
The band, most-famous for hits such as Song 2, Parklife, Country House, Charmless Man and Out of Time, will be heading to the city"s Grand Theatre Romains venue.
Fans of Blur will be sure catch a set packed fill of the band"s trademark infectious indie-pop anthems, with Graham Coxon"s presence back on guitar yet another reason why this tour is unmissable.
It is not yet known whether the band will work on a new album after this clutch of reunion dates, so those keen to see them should make sure they don"t miss out by taking a ferry crossing to france.
Those making the ferry trip to France to see Blur may also be interested in catching Scottish rock-favourites Franz Ferdinand, who will perform in Nimes on July 21st, before returning to the country later in the year.
