21.08.2009
Holidaymakers taking the ferry to france can support some of Britain"s finest artistic talent by stopping off in Paris.

The works of Julian Schwarz and Nicholas Rena are on show at the Musee des Arts Decoratifs in the French capital until October 4th.

Those making the short cross-Channel Dover to Calais trip can check out the considerable talents of the pair, with Schwarz being a renowned sculptor while Rena focuses on ceramics.

For those keen to show off their own skills rather than admire those of others, the Biarritz Dance Festival allows visits to wow onlookers with all they have to offer.

Running between September 11th and 20th, this event sees all kinds of steps and moves on show in what is one of the largest celebrations of its kind on the continent.

If these all seems a little too energetic, there is no need to worry, as Brits making the ferry trip to France could instead enjoy a relaxing browse around the monthly Old Book Market, where they might pick up a gem to enjoy reading on the return cross-Channel journey.ADNFCR-1871-ID-19325390-ADNFCR
