Dutch events for tennis fans

Tennis fans may want to consider a ferry to the Netherlands this year as two major tournaments take place.Visitors to Ahoy may get a glimpse of one of their favourite players if they make the journey there in February as the annual ABN AMRO-sponsored event gets underway.
The indoor competition was won last year by Mikhali Youzhny, who is expected to be back to try and defend his title against the likes of Andy Murray, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic.
As part of one of the Association of Tennis Professionals" 68 events each year, the tournament, which is played on hard court surfaces, is sure to be a real treat for fans of the sport visiting the Netherlands.
Meanwhile, for those travelling to the country later in the year, the Dutch Open competition may be of interest.
Bokkeduinen hosts the event, which runs in July and was won last year by Spain"s Albert Montanes.
