East meets West at Dutch festival

Those keen to sample an array of cultures while on holiday in Holland will want to visit the Liteside Festival.This event brings together traditions of the East and West, putting on music and dance displays for visitors.
Brits who head on the ferry to Amsterdam for this festival between August 14th and 16th will find three days of varied entertainment, ranging from belly dance competitions, which include a cash prize, art classes and all kinds of displays.
Held in Westergasfabriek, DJ performances, literature readings and concerts will bring East and West together in a unique Dutch event.
After enjoying Liteside, Brits in Holland could then sample the best of country"s stage shows.
The Boulevard Theatre Festival takes place in Hertogenbosch between August 7th and 16th, with tens of thousands of visitors making their way to the town for this attraction each year.
Lovers of the stage will also want to travel to Amsterdam later this year, where another major event takes place.
The Amsterdam Fringe Festival showcases top productions across 16 venues, creating a hub of creativity between September 3rd and 13th.
