England set for Holland friendly
31.07.2009
If you have pined for the start of the football season since the last campaign ended back in May only to find that the big kick off clashes with your holiday plans, why not head on a ferry to Holland? Those doing so on August 12th will be able to combine their love of the beautiful game with the need for some relaxation, as England take on Holland in Amsterdam.
The friendly comes just three days before the start of the Premier League season and will see Fabio Capello run the rule over who should be included in the team to face the Ukraine in a crucial World Cup qualifier in October.
Visitors will be able to see the cream of the country"s footballing talent, with big questions such as whether Michael Owen"s move to Manchester United will reignite his England career and how Capello will react to David Beckham heading back to the US making this one not to be missed.
While in Holland, Brits may want to stop off at renowned attractions such as the van Gogh museum and the Cube Houses.
