Ferries to Dunkerque near to special Orchestra event

Those taking ferries to Dunkerque could extend their trip to Germany where one of the leading orchestras of Europe will be playing a special concert. Pianist Mitsuko Uchida is to spend a month on a residency with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra and the band will play throughout Europe for a limited tour, which might interest people taking ferries to Dunkirk.The event's organisers stated: "György Ligeti's San Francisco Polyphony will be the first composition to be tackled by the duo, followed by Piano Concerto No.4 in G major from Beethoven and Jean Sibelius and Symphony No.2 in D major." The organisers added that the event in Berlin is one of the only shows in Germany and is one of the final gigs of the tour.
