Music fans taking ferries to france may want to pay a visit to one of the country"s longest running music festivals which is modernising and changing its format but still retaining a world-class line up.Transmusicales takes place in Rennes each year and has brought French acts like Niagara and Dominique A to a wider audience in the past.
What"s On When stated: "One of France"s oldest and most famous music festivals, the Transmusicales shifts away from the outdoor summer format to spread itself across every available indoor venue in the town."
Acts performing at this year"s event include VV Brown, Fever Ray, Detroit Social Club and France"s very own electro pioneer Mr Oizo.
Rennes is also hosting a leg of the upcoming Franz Ferdinand tour on November 28th and the Scottish art rockers will be playing tracks of their recent album, Tonight, as well as older hits.
