People considering taking ferries to France for a romantic getaway could stay in a hotel that is among the most spectacular in Europe, according to the newspaper the Independent. The newspaper reported on the Appartement Blanc in Paris and put it in the top ten romantic rentals for this years Valentine's Day celebrations."Cosy up in this contemporary rooftop apartment in the Marais district, on a street once called home by Blaise Pascal and revolutionary figure Robespierre. The apartment's prevailing white colour scheme is warmed by 17th-century wooden beams," it stated. The newspaper added that the apartment is near to a range of interesting bohemian cafés, art galleries and chic boutiques that could provide people taking ferries to France with the perfect place to relax.
Historic hotels has recently stated that the Grand Hotel Damier in Flanders straddles the old and trendy parts of the city centre and is considered one of the most stylish hotels in Belgium.
