Gates of Heaven open in France

Those keen to see exactly what awaits behind the gates of heaven will want to take a ferry trip to France this month.Until June 29th the Gates of Heaven exhibition is being held at the Louvre.
Anyone making the short cross-Channel ferry journey to catch this will be able to see a wealth of ancient Egyptian artifacts, while also being able to ponder what happens after we draw our final breath.
The afterlife is a key concept within the exhibition, with as many as 350 pieces on display linked to this age-old conundrum.
For a chance to possibly unlock the mystery that has bothered man since time began, visitors to the Louvre need only pay 14 euros (£11.92) to enter the show, with concessions admitted at cheaper rates.
Not only that, but those heading to the exhibition on Wednesday and Friday evenings can do so for the knocked-down price of 12 euros.
While in France, Brits could also attend the Festival of the Fairytale, which will provide the perfect source of entertainment for any youngsters.
