Military Tattoo on the way in Holland

If a break filled with colour and culture is just what you are looking for, a ferry trip to Holland later this year will provide the perfect event.Between September 24th and 28th, Rotterdam will host the Netherlands Military Tattoo.
Visitors will find a fantastic indoor show full of marches and processions, with traditional music ringing out in the venue as those taking part make their way through the crowds.
Those who miss this event can catch it again in Rotterdam on October 1st, meaning Brits who love to embrace local cultural traditions while on holiday will have to reason to leave Holland without seeing this amazing spectacle.
If something a little less formal is more your kind of thing, there is no need to worry as Holland offers plenty to keep visitors busy this year.
From September 24th until January 10th, Rotterdam will host the International Architecture show.
As part of the Open City season, this event showcases the best the city has to offer in terms of buildings and urban areas, with all kinds of activities and exhibitions put on to keep visitors amused and entertained.
