Paris to welcome art and sci-fi fans

Visitors to France can enjoy all kinds of art in the coming months, with several top events taking place.Comic book fans will be keen to hop on a cross-Channel ferry so they can see the Paris Manga and Sci-Fi Show, which is held on September 12th and 14th.
Taking place in the French capital, this allows lovers of the Japanese artform to enjoy everything from screenings and discussions to demonstrations and interactive attractions.
If more lifelike still images are your thing, a visit to the International Photography Encounters show is a must.
Here, visitors will find fantastic works by young, up-and-coming photographers.
The show takes place in Arles and is open to guests until September 13th, meaning Brits have plenty of opportunity to make the short trip across the Channel to see the images exhibited.
Meanwhile, those with a passion for film will want to head on the ferry to france before the end of August to catch the Moving Image Festival, which showcases open-air cinema in the Poitiers region.
