Ward'in Rock on the way in Belgium
30.07.2009
If pitching a tent in a mud-filled field in the UK does not sound like your idea of fun, but a festival most certainly does, a ferry trip to Belgium later this year could be the perfect compromise. On September 4th and 5th, acts from countless genres will make their way to Belgium for the Ward"in Rock Festival.
Thousands of fans are also expected to flock to this event, which is held in the town of Bastogne.
Among the acts lined up to play this year are Northern Irish rockers Therapy?, who enjoyed huge success in the early to mid 1990s, which saw them fill the bills at UK festivals such as Reading, Phoenix and Donington Monsters of Rock.
Other acts set to appear include The Wailers, Guns of Brixton and Jeronimo, on a bill which includes an eclectic mix of British, French and Belgian bands, as well as those from further afield.
While in Belgium for this event, holidaymakers may also want to enjoy some of the country"s fantastic beverages at the Belgian Beer Weekend, which is held between September 4th and 6th.
