Water trips in Holland

If you love the experience of a ferry trip to Holland, a trip to the country towards the end of the summer could be your ideal break.In August and September the nation is putting on events which will appeal to those who adore life on the waves.
On August 29th thousands of people will head to the Gondolas Festival in Giethoorn.
Here holidaymakers will be able to relax on the Ditch canals, with each vessel being modified with beautiful designs especially for the event, proving the perfect way to travel.
After a day of relaxing on Dutch waterways, the World Port Festival could be a great way to round off a holiday in Holland.
Between September 4th and 6th, Rotterdam Harbour will be the place to be for those who adore the waves.
A range of events and activities will be put on to keep visitors entertained, including tours of ships docked in the harbour, cruises and all manner of demonstrations from those who know all there is to know where it comes to life at sea.
