Cross channel ferries can help with relationships
26.02.2010
People taking cross channel ferries to france can use their holiday time to help rebuild and strengthen their relationship, according to one expert, who thinks holidaymakers are getting more adventurous.Frances Tuke, spokesperson for ABTA, said that around a third of travellers use their time abroad to clear their heads and gain personal fulfilment.
"We have become more adventurous essentially and we are looking for a little bit more when it comes to travel. We want personal fulfilment, we are not just looking to flock and drop onto the beaches," said Ms Tuke.
The travel expert added that couples are also using their holidays as a way to discuss important matters and also steer their lives in a new direction.
Holidaymakers visiting Normandy will struggle to fit in all the activities and sights that the region offers, according to the New York Times, which said there are great sights to see like Mont St Michel.
