Family holidays are a great bonding opportunity

Families taking ferries to france have an opportunity to bond while on a break, according to an expert, who said that they can bring broods closer together.

Lucy Ace, managing director of Takethefamily.com, stated that family holidays are a crucial period for families to bond and re-establish themselves as a unit.

"It is important to take a break from domestic life and spend quality time together away from everyday stresses and pressures even if just for a weekend or a couple of days," she said.

The expert added that a country near to home, like France, could be an ideal place to visit because holiday opportunities are governed by school schedules.

Shared experiences can help a brood bond, according to the family holiday expert.

A survey by Takethefamily.com recently showed that value for money is by far the most important factor for holidaymakers, with 64 per cent saying it is the top consideration – 24 per cent more than last year.
