Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher wed in France

People taking ferries to Dunkerque could be inspired by two comedy actors who tied the knot in the romantic country in March 2010, according to reports.

Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher reportedly got married in Paris after being engaged for six years with Ms Fisher converting to Judaism. According to the Australian magazine "Woman's Day," Ms Fisher wrote in an email to friends, "We did it - we're married! It was the absolute best day of my life and in so many beautiful moments I missed you all so much. I thought of you as everything was happening, but Sacha and I wanted no fuss."

Baron Cohen, who starred as Ali G, and Fisher, who featured in Wedding Crashers and Confessions of a Shopaholic, reportedly stayed in the Ritz hotel during their trip. Another actor who loves staying at the Ritz is Kyle MacLachlan, who said he likes the old-school glamour of the hotel.
