Brits 'miss bed but not food' while on holiday

Brits miss there own beds while they are away on holidays such as ferry trips to France, according to the latest research.A study by Trivago found that 41 per cent of respondents said that they pine for their own mattress while they are away from home, but that there are several things which are do not long for.
Only three per cent admitted to missing British food and four per cent could not wait to get home from holiday to enjoy a trip to the pub.
Meanwhile, six per cent said that they long for British television while they are on holiday.
Those making ferry trips to France this summer will find plenty of ways to keep their minds off UK TV.
Holidaymakers could head to the Beach Volleyball World Tour in Marseille between June 20th and 26th if they are feeling particularly sporty.
For those keen to embrace some culture, a trip to the Les Orientales Festival may be the perfect choice, with all manner of music, dance and art keeping visitors entertained and keeping their minds well and truly away from the UK.
