Ferries to Dunkerque: Upmarket ski resorts await

People taking ferries to Dunkerque are near to a ski resort that offers upmarket ambience, according to one newspaper, which said that it is not overflowing with British visitors.The Independent reported on the success of Megève and put it down to the resort"s high-end appeal, which draws large numbers of European skiers to its slopes.
"Despite its exceptionally beautiful, bowl-like setting beneath Mont Blanc and its large ski area, it remains very French. British skiers make up no more than ten per cent of its guests," the newspaper stated.
It added that the resort gave birth to the standard fuseau-style ski pants which were worn by Émile Allais when he won the 1937 World Championships in Chamonix.
People taking ferries to france will anchor near a region which offers holidaymakers the chance to have a brilliant holiday, according to the Daily Telegraph, which highly recommended Brittany.
