More people could be getting cross channel ferries to ski resorts, as an expert said that they are popular with Brits this year.Vanessa Fisher, spokesperson for the Ski Club of Great Britain, said that some of the resorts are ideal for Brits are they have large ski areas and are connected with other locations.
The expert also claimed that people who have not booked their cross channel ferries or skiing break still have time to fit one in, as Easter will offer good conditions.
"There will be plenty of snow for the whole of the Easter holidays - which is great for people who are looking to go skiing over Easter," she explained.
Ms Fisher stated that it is exciting people are looking to sport as a holiday, with some ditching the traditional beach break for a ski holiday.
Her comments follow research from easyJet, which placed five ski destinations in France in its top ten locations for winter sports.
