Les Deux Alpes, an ideal destination for skiers in winter break

One skier has recommended Les Deux Alpes for a winter break, saying that the resort caters to all categories of winter sports lovers and also offers wonderful views, which means it can be a good option for those getting a ferry to france.

Abigail Kemp, writing for the Manchester Evening News, said that it is one of the world’s oldest ski resorts and is not to be missed.

She added that Les Deux Alpes lift system is comprehensive whilst the panoramic views form the Mont De Lans glacier renders a spectacular sight.

"We were lucky with the mid-January weather but even if we did have a whiteout day there was plenty to occupy both children and adults as Les Deux Alpes boasts a bowling alley, heated outdoor swimming pool, ice rink and plenty of shops, bars and restaurants," she wrote.

She also recommended the Hotel Brunerie to those taking ferry to France, saying that it is clean and active with great views.

The hotel is also a five-minute walk from the Jandri Express lift and has an indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi and sauna.
