Writer finds fun and food in France

Camping holidays in France could be just right for those searching for a fun, family break this summer, one journalist has suggested.Andrew Purvis, writing for the Daily Telegraph, took his loved ones on a short cross-Channel ferry hop to Montpellier, where they found plenty of entertainment for the little ones in the group.
The campsite was kitted out with everything from pools to clubs and waterslides to keep the younger members of the family amused for hours on end.
As for mum and dad, they were not short on entertainment after the short ferry trip to France either.
Bike rides to neighbouring towns and villages were followed by an array of beautiful local dishes, giving them the chance to replace the calories that they burnt off earlier in the day.
The writer commented that the high points of the holiday were the cookery classes put on at L"Ecole des Gourmets in Saint Clement de Riviere, where they were able to bond with other couples and enjoy some more superb food.
Recently, Stephen Bleach wrote for the Times about the fun his family had while trekking in France.
