Cross channel ferries are 'close to attractive festival'
10.02.2010
People using cross channel ferries are close to a festival that is as impressive as any in the whole of Europe, according to one newspaper. The Times predicted that Snowbombing will be among the most revered music festivals to take place this summer and said dance acts like the Scratch Perverts and Justin Robertson will brush up alongside hip hop legends De La Soul.
"This year it"s headlined by the one and only Fatboy Slim, and while dominated by dance music there are performances from some big name indie acts like Doves, Friendly Fires and Editors alongside up and coming bands Wild Beasts and The Whip," it stated.
It added that there will also be raves inside giant igloos and fancy dress shenanigans for visitors to get excited about.
The Times recently reported on the top events for people to try out in 2010 and a trip to Berlin to see Daniel Barenboim and Lang Lang perform their classical music at one of the city"s premier music venues.
