People taking ferries to france are close to some yuletide markets which offer brilliant food and wine, and are available throughout the country, according to one expert.Katrin Lukosch, sales promotion manager at the German National Tourist Office, said that the majority of German towns and cities have their own Christmas markets which have culinary delights for visitors to enjoy.
She said: "They are usually at spectacular locations. It is mostly all about drinking mulled wine, eating all the Christmas food. Goods sold there include wooden crafts, glass crafts and lots of handmade things."
The expert added that the markets offer shopping experiences in a very nice location often close to historic and beautiful buildings.
In other news, International Currency Exchange recently stated that Dresden"s market gives people the opportunity to have a meal for two which will only set them back around £15.
