People taking ferries to Dunkerque can continue their trip to Germany and take in the sights of one of the country"s most beautiful areas, according to one newspaper.The Times reported on the fun that can be had in Bamberg on a weekend break and placed it in the top ten destinations to visit during 48 hours away from it all.
"Its old town - a splurge of medieval religious buildings and Baroque palaces is fringed with Art Nouveau houses and riddled with historic breweries where you can drink, eat and even sleep," it stated.
The newspaper added that Bamberg is Unesco-listed and was at the heart of Germanys Enlightenment, overflowing with culture and frothy organic beer, which may interest people considering taking a ferry to Dunkerque.
In other news, the Daily Mail reported that the Cologne and Berlin Christmas markets were packed with different places that vacationers can enjoy and explore.
