07.01.2010
People taking ferries to france can take advantage of many great ski deals which are on offer from companies which have struggled to sell all of their breaks, according to one newspaper. The Daily Mail reported that some resorts are slashing prices by 60 per cent, which could tempt people taking ferries to France who are considering spending a few days at one of the world famous resorts that can be found in the country.
It stated: "Travel experts suspect many skiers are choosing to hit the slopes once, rather than up to three times. They believe canny snow-seekers are holding off booking to secure one [a bargain]."
The newspaper said that although bookings are down overall this winter, the ski resorts are fighting back by making offers which are too good to refuse.
Travellers may want to return to the continent later in the year in order to take part in the several festivals that run throughout the summer, including the International Street Theatre Festival in Ghent.
